Due to the age of most buildings in California, we’re called on to remove asbestos, lead and mold-containing materials in homes, commercial buildings, schools and military facilities. Our services can range from scheduled hazardous removal for remodels and demolitions, to emergency responses for fire and water loss, and at other times, the removal of hazards subsequent to a remodel or full building demolition.

The maintenance of a clean and safe community, through the removal of hazards, is our main goal. We take pride in contributing to the preservation of our beautiful surroundings in our part of the world. Ryan Hoffman

CEO

Ryan has over 20 years of experience managing government and civilian projects involving construction, safety, and hazardous materials. Ryan takes clients, step-by-step, through the often scary, and unknown, prospect of hazardous material. He’ll clearly lay out your options and mobilize his team and our local partners to address all your needs. He’ll make you happy, and he’ll keep your environment safe!

Mike Fort

Sales Manager

Mike began his career in 1995 after graduating from San Jose State University; he entered the environmental & construction fields, and has consistently moved forward. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies, with an emphasis on Business Management. He quickly landed a job for an environmental consulting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he conducted surveys, collected samples and drafted abatement procedures. Mike, with more than 25 years of experience, and several professional certifications, consistently instills confidence in his workability. His forte includes his uncanny ability to quickly and effectively design common-sense solutions in a not-so-common sense world. Mike was born and raised in Santa Cruz County, where he, his wife and three kids reside. On his off days, he enjoys surfing, golfing and spending time with family and friends.

Antonio Lebron

Estimator/Project Manager

Antonio has been on the environmental/abatement side of construction since 2013. He started as a crew lead man, then worked his way up to supervisor, superintendent, and now Estimator,Project Manager for M.E.S.S., where he continues to learn and grow.
Antonio ensures each project gets completed to the client’s expectation, all while in compliance with EPA & OSHA regulations. He is a certified asbestos contractor/supervisor, construction safety & Health, EPA lead renovator, Hazwoper, and Aerial lift operator.
He takes ownership and pride in ensuring each project is completed with excellence.

Ruben Chavez-MESS Clean Up in the Central Coast of California

Ruben Chavez

Transportation/Project Manager

Ruben Chavez began his career in environmental management, starting as a Hazardous Waste Technician for a company in the Bay Area. He developed into a Hazardous Waste Driver, which included package and transportation of hazardous waste and emergency response clean ups. In 1994, Ruben and his partner opened their own company to provide the Bay Area, San Benito and Monterey counties a full service Environmental Management Company. In 2008, after closing the doors to his company, Ruben transitioned into water and fire restoration, where he contributed 10 years to a local restoration company, where duties spanned fire and water restoration, in addition to asbestos abatement.
In 2018, Ruben joined the Monterey Environmental Solutions & Services team as an Asbestos Supervisor, Project Manager and Estimator.
